CTA was born out of an urgent need for abandoned, over-raced horses and rising euthanasia rates in the Caribbean racing industry. Faced with that reality, founders Kelley Stobie and Shelley Blodgett knew something had to be done to protect these animals, and Caribbean Thoroughbred Aftercare was created with the mission of being the voice and refuge that the horses so desperately needed. **A Special Afternoon for an Extraordinary Cause** Guests will enjoy an afternoon that includes dinner, music, photo ops with CTA's horses, a donation wall, activities, surprises, and drinks. A live auction featuring incredible items will also take place, with all proceeds going directly toward the care of equines in CTA's program.
